The Rampmaster consists of three modules. Most tank modules are built with .313 inch aluminum; which is a thicker tank than any other refueler tank in the industry. Rampmaster tanks will not leak and are warranted not to leak for 10 years.

The pump module contains the filter vessel, meter, hoses, and flow control valves. The pump module is located between the cab and tank and can be removed effortlessly with a forklift.

The power module is the refueler chassis. It contains all the wear items on the refueler (engine, transmission, pump, etc.). All heavy duty Rampmaster power modules are built on Volvo chassis. Volvo is one of the two top heavy duty truck manufacturers in the world. Volvo has standardized parts availability and support worldwide.

With modular design, Rampmaster captured 70% of all heavy domestic orders in the past two decades (7,000 gallons. and above).

All three of these modules can separate easily in minutes for repair, upgrade, or overhaul (via an exchanged module). The highly rugged, modular design more than doubles the life of the refueler. At the end of 10 years, the power module can be exchanged to restore the Rampmaster to factory new specs, performance, and warranty. The pump and tank modules are passive and resist wearing out. With a power module exchange, the refueler is revitalized and will pump with new utility for another 10 years at two thirds the original cost. This feature creates dramatically low life cycle costs.

Many customers have had Rampmaster power module exchanges. As Rampmasters reach ten years of service, more and more Power Module Exchanges will occur.

Modular Economic Benefits:

  1. Quick Upgrading: Upgrades fight obsolescence. If we improve pumping technology in the years to come, we can send the new technology pump module to replace the older one in minutes!
  2. Quick Maintenance: Spare Modules can be bought as maintenance replacements. Failed modules can be fixed at leisure, while the refueler continues to operate on spare modules.
  3. Overhaul Exchange: After 10 years, a Power Module can be exchanged for the old truck module in minutes.

The Impact of
Rampmaster's Modularity on Life Cycle
Costs & Profitability is Dramatic!!

Let us assume if it were possible, that all truck designs could enjoy trouble free, 1,000,000 gal./month, ten year life cycles. Thereafter capital investment will be necessary to maintain like new utility for the next 10 years. The key words are: like new utility. Only Rampmaster truly attains like new utility via power module exchanges to factory new specs and warranty.

The competition has no such modular answer. And because rigid mounted tanks dangerously leak after 5 to10 years, like new utility can only be truly provided by total replacement of competing designs.
