Before General Transervice, Inc. ever built a Rampmaster refueler, GTI was the largest refueler maintenance company in the world. General Transervice, Inc. (GTI) started in 1968 as an airport refueler maintenance company at Philadelphia Airport. Throughout the 1970's GTI grew to maintain over 260 refuelers in 14 cities for oil companies and airlines.

What makes a Rampmaster so unique is our building philosophy. The Rampmaster was created after more than a decade of refueler maintenance. GTI foresaw that airlines, intoplane agents, and oil companies needed a new kind of refueler; a refueler that would be extremely rugged, was very easy to maintain, repair, upgrade, and overhaul for a much longer life cycle. A refueler with these characteristics radically departured from existing designs. Thus, the first Fully Modular aircraft refueler was built… the Rampmaster.
