THE SIMPLE REASONS FOR EXCHANGE:

After years of use, a refueler truck is worn out. At this time you can continue to operate with a worn out truck and incur the time and money penalties keeping up with maintenance, delaying flights and customers. You might consider buying a new truck or finding a quality (not easy to do) re-manufactured refueler. Or if you had the foresight to have a Rampmaster MODULAR refueler, you can simply get a Power Module Exchange.

Rampmasters are NOT integrated refuelers. They can be separated into Power, Pump, and Trailer Modules. A Rampmaster is the ONLY refueler where one can remove the Power Module (which contains 90% of the refueler wear items including the engine, transmission, and pump) and replace it with a new or restored Power Module. The Exchanged Rampmaster will instantly provide like new utility with original factory warrantee and specifications at two thirds the cost of new!

In an era where budgets are tight and competition is bringing rates down; good, high quality, proven refuelers are needed to reliably pump and pump. Many times old refuelers look economically attractive, but economics quickly erode due to the expense of higher maintenance, delays, and down time! New trucks may be too much for a budget, but a Power Module Exchange provides the same reliability and performance as new, keeps maintenance costs down, and provides much lower lease rates.

REAL LIFE SITUATIONS:

One of our customers just decided to save 1/3 off of new prices by putting brand new factory Power Modules under existing tanks. You don't have to be a CFO to understand the pure cost savings here, much less the maintenance and cost per gallon savings.

HOW FINANCING IS DONE:

You cannot bury the costs of a repair into a lease. But, a Rampmaster Power Module Exchange is so extensive it qualifies for a tax lease. A tax lease offers tremendously low lease rates typically reserved ONLY for new refuelers.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A POWER MODULE
EXCHANGE DOES NOT OCCUR?

  1. If the Power Module is kept in service, it degrades into a smoking hulk, useful to no one.
  2. If the refueler is replaced with new, huge opportunity losses occur. Exchange refuelers perform as well as new, but cost a third less! If you do not utilize the cost savings of an Exchange, the competition will!

RAMPMASTER IS A MANUFACTURER
THAT STILL MAINTAINS REFUELERS

Because we continue to maintain refuelers on location at U.S. Airports, we have economic data to compare operational costs of old units versus Exchanged units.

Exchange Data ChartOver a 10 year term, an Exchange is 32% more efficient at 750,000 gallons per month when compared to old paid off Rampmasters that are not exchanged. The chart to the right is generated by combining finance costs, maintenance costs, and efficiency ratings to actual gallons pumped to get an average cost per gallon comparison.

If you are a potential customer and want to see an Exchange in process, we are standing by to accommodate. Contact Us for a personal visit and multimedia demonstration in your office.
